Design by LOUISE CAMPBELL.
Louise Campbell created Prince Chair for a competition to design a piece of furniture for the Danish Crown Prince in connection with the 2003 Copenhagen furniture fair. With inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s world-famous paper cuttings, symbolizing the prince’s Danish context, the white felt makes a direct reference to the paper, and the poetic perforated patterns represent Campbell’s feminine interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s paper cuttings.
